About.

Greg Woodbridge is a passionate conductor with a keen ear for rhythmic vitality and orchestral color.  He is at home with professional, community, collegiate and youth orchestras.  His training was eclectic, studying both piano and violin before devoting all of his time to conducting.  For that, he sought out teachers who were pupils of the legendary conducting pedagogue Ilya Musin and honed his craft over the course of a richly varied career.  Woodbridge is not only a dynamic performer but also an entertainer, at once at home in standard and  Pops repertoire.

Woodbridge is currently the Music Director and Conductor of the Hershey Symphony Orchestra (Hershey, PA) and Associate Conductor of the Harrisburg Symphony Orchestra.  He IS open to working with orchestras whose initials are not HSO--but this seems to be the current trend.

Woodbridge maintains a full conducting schedule, and also enjoys the usual hobbies you read about on websites like this--cooking, gardening, the outdoors, playing with his dogs, and starting great books he wishes he could actually finish.
